In this course you will study the leisure and tourism industries in the UK.
What will I learn?
Through visits, work experience and classroom activities you will learn and enjoy the following:- how do leisure and tourism organisations operate as a business;
- the variety of activities and destinations involved;
- how people spend their leisure time and meet their needs;
- possible employment possibilities in leisure and tourism.
How will my work be assessed?
This GCSE is assessed by means of a combination of external assessment (examination) and internal assessment (courswork marked by their teacher).
