In this course you will study our planet and the lives of the people who inhabit different parts of it.What will I learn?
You will examine how people interact with the environment, observing and analysing facts using maps, photographs and statistical data. You will study the following modules:- climate, the environment and people;
- water, landforms and people;
- people and place;
- people, work and development.
What sort of homework will I be set?
This will be a mixture of research, coursework tasks, practice examination questions and worksheets.What coursework will I need to do?
You will have to complete two pieces of coursework:- Study: a piece of coursework undertaken through fieldwork
- Cross-unit task: a research assignment
How will my work be assessed?
There are two final written exam papers. Your final GCSE grade will depend on:| Coursework study | 15% |
